The Fort

We have been doing so much fun stuff... I'm too busy to even just keep you up to date.

No worries, our lives are not just fun, they are full of challenges too. We've been going through a rough time with Max and had to once more discipline much more often than we wish he'd have to. The three's are terrible. I did not think they would be. But they are.

Thanks to friends (Pam!!) who help me so much with loving suggestions WHEN ASKED (ya, I think almost all Mom's have problems with unwanted suggestions) we've been doing a little different discipline now. Max is responding to the new time-out's much better and we had to use them less since the change.

Almost two weeks ago, on a rainiy Sunday afternoon, we built this fort. We had so much fun putting it up. Then we played Memory (or Matching game) in it, had a snack and then went on a rainy walk and topped it off with a bath.

I'm sure we'll build another fort sometime soon in the future!

The pictures are not perfect. But so often in life they just don't have to be. It's not about posing and taking those technically perfect pictures. It's about taking pictures for memories. Something you can look at later on and smile.
